Abdullah (Palestinian Muslim Bus Driver), Pastor Mike Sullivan, and Mendi (Jewish Guide) Unity Accomplished in Jerusalem, Feb. 2010
We live in a torn, strife-riven society today, where you can find yourself in peril whether you are in Jerusalem, Israel or Jerusalem, Arkansas. Headlines on newpapers and blogsites remind us that through disasters, failures, and tragedies, it becomes harder to find hope in the world around us. Even Jesus alluded to this fact, yet He included our saving hope:
In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. (John 16:33)
Peace is possible for you today. Happiness does not have to be an illusion in the bottom of a bottle or syringe. There is a safe place where you can find healing, acceptence, and companionship for your journey through the ratrace of life.
At Unity, we like to think of our group as a Family, and our church as a Home. Not in the shattered, broken, and hollow concept seen so often in today's society, but one where a person is safe, life's hurts can be mended, and hopes can begin with a simple touch. In our home, you will not find perfection nor the need for it, but you will find something greater: love. For we are all walking the same journey, often fighting the same battles, each desiring God's peace. And the love we share is often the love we receive, as Jesus showed us in Matthew 25:40.
At this site, you will see pictures and find information regarding our church family, what we believe, and when we gather. You can hear sermons about the things wetrust toand that motivates us to a better life. We hope that all you seek can be found here. But to know us, well, maybe you could come join us. And when you are with us, we earnestly believe you'll enjoy the companionship! We love this place! Come ask us why.
