"Taverns of Colonial America" will be speaker Nell White's subject on Friday, Nov. 19 at the Kirk Men's Association meeting beginning at 7:30 a.m. in Hoffius Hall. While researching her family history, Nell became interested in the role taverns played when our country was being founded. She is a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and has served as Regent for the local chapter. Visitor's are welcome. ___________________________ Our popular Wednesday Bible class meets 9 to 10:30 a.m. each Wednesday. Pastor Bill Bailey is leading an in-depth study on the New Testament Letters, beginning with The Letter of James. Also covered will be I Peter and some of Pauls shorter letters. Everyone is welcome. ___________________________ The Thursday Morning Study Group, moderated by Pastor Bill Bailey, meets weekly at 9 a.m. in the conference room to discuss Alan Jacobs The Narnian: Life and Imagination of C.S. Lewis. All are welcome.
