Legend says that the Reddie Spirit was born the night in 1914 that the student body came together under the pine trees of Henderson after fire destroyed the main buildings. The students vowed to stay together and rebuild their school.

REDDIES NOT SELECTED FOR NCAA PLAYOFFS

Despite winning a share of the Gulf South Conference title, Henderson State was not selected as one of the six teams in Super Region 2 to play in the NCAA Division II Playoffs, announced by the NCAA Sunday afternoon.
