Award Recognizes Excellence in Nursing at WRMC
A daisy generally signifies a delicate flower. At White River Medical Center (WRMC), the word daisy signifies compassion, care, and going above and beyond the call of duty to serve. Every two months, a WRMC nurse is chosen as a recipient of the DAISY (Diseases Attacking the Immune System) Award for Extraordinary Nurses, an award that recognizes those nurses who go above and beyond the call of duty to provide extraordinary care to patients.
WRMC Recognizes Stephanie Cannon
Stephanie Cannon, RN 4th Floor, is the White River Medical Center November Employee of the Month for best demonstrating the “Commitment to Co-Workers” Standard of Behavior. Stephanie has been at WRMC for 11 ½ years and assists staff with clinical skills, organizes patient flow in department, collects performance improvement data, maintains time and attendance, and coordinates discharge phone calls.
