Boomtown International Day
This past weekend Wyatt Baptist hosted students from Nepal, South Korea, and China for a weekend of fun and fellowship. Activities began Saturday morning with breakfast at the church. Tailgating followed outside Memorial Stadium with games and food. Then the group caught the first half of the Boomtown Classic football game between Southern Arkansas University and the University of Monticello. The night concluded at the home of Jana and Dwayne Warren with a meal, hayride, and campfire. Thank you to all who were involved in hosting students and participating in events. Some of the students were able to attend our Sunday Morning worship time. We are thankful that God has given us the opportunity to bless our new friends from foreign lands. There will be more events for international student ministry throughout the year.
This Week's Sermon
This Sunday we will finish our study of II Peter by asking the question, "What are we supposed to be doing while we wait on Jesus to return?" The sermon will focus on II Peter 3:14-18.
