This is the Lord's doing; it is marvellous in our eyes. (Psalm 118:23)
From the Pastor’s Desk Setting Your Thoughts
For the rest, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is worthy of reverence and is honorable and seemly, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely and lovable, whatever is kind and winsome and gracious, if there is any virtue and excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think on and weigh and take account of these things fix your
minds on them." (Phillipians 4:8 AMP)
Many problems that people encounter in life are a result of just plain wrong thinking. The bible teaches us that as a person thinks so will he be (Proverbs 23:7). This means that a person's thoughts will eventually become their reality. Through meditation of the Word of God, we can train and control our thinking
thereby producing positive results in our lives. Just as the setting of a thermostat has the power to change the atmosphere to a desired temperature, we too have the power to change the conditions of our life by setting our thoughts on the Word. This enables us to change our atmosphere to one that is desireable to us as well as to God.
Welcome to our web site. Our prayer is that it will serve as a tool to share the great news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We personally invite you to come worship with us at any of our services. God has good things in store for you!!
Our vision here at Deliverance Family Worship Center can be found in Isaiah 58:6-8, "To loose the bands of wickedness, and undo the heavy burden on the lives of millions. To see the oppressed go free, and to destroy every yoke of bondage by the anointing of the Holy Ghost so that people may walk in true abundance and the liberty which is rightfully theirs in Christ. To deal bread to the hungry, shelter the poor and cast out, and clothe the naked, presenting to a lost and hopeless world the mystery of God which is Christ in you, the hope of glory."
VERSE OF THE DAY:
