The year was 1948 and Paul Wortman started a small plastering company in Northwest Arkansas. Little did he know that he would later sell that company to one of his own employees, Marvin Wilson, who bought the business in 1974 and with his commitment to expert craftsmanship, competitive pricing, and outstanding service before and after the job, he took his business to new levels. When he was ready to retire he too sold the business to some of his employees, Sebastian, Michael, Rex and Theodore. After working with Marvin for as long as we did, we have inherited his same commitment to value the customer, and to complete each project that we undertake with professionalism. We specialize in Lath, Plaster, & Stucco applications, and can also help you with your small cultured stone projects.
We purchased Wortman Plastering, Inc. in 2003 and changed the name to Wortman Smart Plastering, LLC (S.M.A.R.T. for Sebastian, Michael, Rex and Theodore). Since then we have became members of the Better Business Bureau and the Chamber of Commerce.
