My christian journey began in 1982 when a Truth Tabernacle church bus in Fresno, CA came through our neighborhood. A little resistant, at the age of 15, to the things of God, but God new the hunger in my heart. I really did want joy, peace and purpose for living! Thankfully, I received the baptism of the Holy Ghost in 1982, which filled that emptiness in my heart!
The first 15 years after giving my life to God was spent ushering, Bible quizzing, teaching the word of God, outreaching, and running bus routes to pick people up for church. In 2001 we moved to Sacramento and shortly after assisted Rev. Doug Morgan in Davis. In 2005 I became an assistant to the pastor, Bishop Curtis Young, in Rancho Cordova and in April 2007 became the pastor. After hearing God's voice, prayer and with spiritual guidance from elders and mentors in my life, we started a church in Folsom, CA. in June of 2010! I along with the saints of Abundant Life Church are excited about what God is doing and is going to do in hearts and lives in the city of Folsom!

We are founded upon the belief that the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God.
One God~ We believe there is only one God (Dueteronomy 6:4). He is the Creator of heaven and earth, and of all living beings. He has revealed Himself to humanity as the Father (Creator), as the Son (Savior), and as the Holy Ghost (indwelling Spirit).
Salvation~ We believe that salvation comes through believing and obeying the Gospel (Acts 2:38). Repentance (Death), baptism in Jesus' name (Burial), and the infilling of the Holy Ghost (Resurrection) were commanded by the Apostles and are still valid today.
Divine Healing~The vicarious suffering of the Lord Jesus Christ paid for the healing of our bodies, the same as for the salvation of our souls, for with His stripes we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5)
