Osage Clinic is located on the corner of Hwy 102 and SW I Street in Bentonville. The clinic was founded in 1980 by Dr. Don Rone. The clinic was purchased by Kristy and Kelly Austin in 2003 when Dr. Rone retired to pursue a full time career in mission work for the Southern Baptist Mission Board.
Our goal at Osage is to offer quality and affordable care for your dogs and cats along with superior customer service while glorifying our Lord Jesus Christ. We know you have many clinics to choose from and we want to tailor our services to meet your needs. We want you and your pet to have the most pleasant experience at our clinic.
We offer full service small animal care including blood work, surgery, x-rays, dental care, vaccinations and a pharmacy. We also offer boarding facilities and an outdoor play yard and retail pet supplies including Science Diet, Prescription Diet and Eukanuba Pet Foods. Drop-off appointments and house calls are available upon request.

Dr. Kristy L. Austin
Kristy Austin, DVM Kristy is a native of Tulsa, OK and attended college and Veterinary School at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, OK. Prior to purchasing Osage Clinic, she practiced small animal medicine in Joplin, MO for 10 years. Kristy is married to Kelly Austin and has two children, Taylor and Kate. Away from work she enjoys football, travel and church activities.

Dr. Tammy Nixon
Dr. Tammy Nixon joined our staff in July 2006. She is a native of NW Arkansas and a graduate of the University of Arkansas. Dr. Nixon served in the US Army and attended the University of Georgia Veterinary School while in service. After leaving the military she worked at clinics in Georgia and Pennsylvania. She and her husband Scott have a pug and several cats.
Kelly Austin, Office Manager Kelly is a native of Pine Bluff, AR and also lived in Alabama and Connecticut while growing up. He returned to Arkansas after high school to attend the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. Prior to purchasing Osage he had 15 years of experience in business and manufacturing in various management roles. He enjoys football, water activities and guns. The Austins have three dogs and three cats of their own.

Amber Curtis - Veterinary Technician joined our staff in April 2010. Amber is a graduate of Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology in Aurora, CO. She has a work background in an Animal Shelter and other clinics before coming to Osage. Amber and her husband Austin have two dogs and a cat.
Lori McNeal - Veterinary Assistant. Lori joined our staff in September 2008. Lori previously worked as a Zookeeper in New Orleans. She is a native of Ohio and has a degree in Biology. She has a boyfriend, Charles, and has a Golden Retriever named Whiskey. She is the lone LSU fan on our staff.
Lisa Morrison - Receptionist and Veterinary Assistant. Lisa joined our staff in 2006 after moving to Bentonville. She previously worked for a clinic in Frisco, Tx. Lisa has three children, a dog Macey and a cat Oliver. Lisa is also a student at NWA Community College.
Renae Findley, Receptionist, is a native of Joplin, MO and attended the University of Arkansas. She also handles ordering supplies and assists Kelly with office management duties. Outside of work she enjoys Arkansas Razorback sports, music and meeting people. She has 2 Pugs, Meika and Mia, and a Golden Retriever, Buddy.
Amy Rodney - Relief Veterinary Assistant. Amy worked at Osage for 6 years before deciding to become a full time stay at home mom. Amy still works with us to cover for absences and vacations. She and her husband Chris have 2 daughters and a collection of dogs, cats, and horses.
The Cat, Claudia
Claudia the Cat, Greeter As far as we know Claudia is a native of Bentonville and has been employed at Osage most of her life. She thinks she is in charge of the clinic and we let her think so. Her passions include canned cat food, laying on the appointment book, and seeking attention from all visitors. If you find her outside the front door at the clinic it means we probably made her go outside and she is looking for a different way inside.
The Other Cat, Squirt
Squirt the cat came to the clinic when he was 2 weeks old and has become the Surgery Recovery cat. He is able to check on animals as they wake up from surgical procedures. Squirt is also in competition for Claudia's job as Official Greeter.
Micah Ober - Micah is a student at the University of Arkansas and has plans to go to veterinary school. Micah worked as our Kennel Person for two years and still assists us on weekends and school breaks.
Anna Burner - Anna is a student in Animal Science at NWA Community College and also volunteers at Lone Pine Shelter.
Nick Springer - Weekend Kennel Attendant - is a student at Bentonville High School and has several pets at home.
Christine Sullivan - relief Veterinary Assistant. Christine is a music teacher at Lifeway Christian School and is married to Russell Sullivan. Before going into teaching she was a Veterinary Assistant.
